2020 Ceremony of Course-Completion and Certificate Issuing for the Students of Chinese Language& Culture Program

On the morning of July 17, 2020, the Ceremony of Course-Completion and Certificate Issuing for the students of 2019 Chinese Language & Culture Program was grandly held in the meeting room of 205 of Hongyi building on East Campus. Dr.& Prof. Qin Yongling, the Vice President of Hechi University, Wei Liqiu, Director of Office of International Exchange and Affairs of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan,and Dean of School of Foreign Studies (School of International Education) and Lin Na, Deputy Director of Office of International Exchange and Affairs of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and Deputy Dean of School of Foreign Studies (School of International Education), attended this graduation ceremony.

At the ceremony of course-completion, Vice President Qin Yongling announced the list of international students who had obtained the qualifications for graduation. Then, Wu Siyu, the representative of the international students majoring in Business English of 2017, shared his experience of studying business English in our school and sent sincere blessings to the students who are about to graduate. Liang Ling majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Foreign Languages, 2017 class, from School of Chinese Literature and Communication expressed heartfelt congratulations to the international students who obtained the qualifications and congratulated them on successfully completing their studies. The graduate representative Lu Ping made a speech. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chinese government, schools, and teachers who have given care, help, support and encouragement to the whole class, and expressed his willing to continue learning Chinese and serving as a bridge and link in cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Then, Vice President Qin Yongling issued certificates of completion to the foreign students who have obtained the qualifications and reviewed the outstanding performance of foreign students in the 2019 language training class during the school, hoping that they can inherit the school’s spirit of “a commitment to truth” and actively return to the construction of basic industries in their motherland, cherish the friendship between teachers and students, spread the friendship from China and the university.

It is reported that there is a total of 14 graduates from 8 countries in Asia and Africa including Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Mozambique and other countries. All of them come from our school's 2019 Chinese Language & Culture Program.
