HCU International Students Secure Third Prize in The Third Knowledge Contest about Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for International Students

The Third Knowledge Contest about Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for International Students, organized by Guangxi Higher Education Association’s Committee on the Management of International Students and hosted by Liuzhou City Vocational College, successfully concluded on October 24-25, 2024. HCU sent three international students—Kyi Sin Thaw (Chinese name: Zhang Xinlan), Noaman Omair (Chinese name: Cheng Li), and Ngongo Masimango (Chinese name: Nuoman)—to participate in the competition, where they secured Third Prize in the team category. Among the trio, Kyi Sin Thaw performed exceptionally well in the preliminary individual round, progressing to the finals and ultimately clinching Third Prize in the individual event.

After the competition, participants expressed that the event had profoundly enriched their understanding of China’s development, particularly focusing on the development and vibrant culture in Guangxi. This triumph marks a landmark achievement as it is the first time our international students have been awarded in this event.
