On July 29, 2025, a group of 20 students from Hechi University returned to China after successfully completing a 17-day study program at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) in Thailand. The students came from various majors like Thai (Business), Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Physical Education, Music, Music Education, Product Design, and Fashion Design.
Hosted by RMUTT's Business School (RTBS), the program provided comfortable accommodation, convenient transport, and helpful student buddies. It included diverse learning and cultural activities like business and arts classes, cultural site visits, market research, and Thai food tasting, which allowed the students to fully immerse themselves and gained rich rewards.
Students experienced Thailand's higher education system, especially its focus on vocational training, practical teaching, and interactive classes. With help from their buddies, they compared Thai and Chinese education styles and gained new ideas for their studies and future.

Students visited RMUTT's Faculty of Engineering and attended Business School classes on Communication, International Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain. They also did field visits to local markets to see how Thai businesses, logistics, and trade actually work.

Cultural and artistic experiences were a key focus of this exchange program. At the Faculty of Music and Arts, RMUTT, students enthusiastically participated in diverse cultural courses. They explored modern Thai art, studied traditional Thai dance, and listened to traditional Thai music. Through the graceful movements and captivating rhythms, they personally experienced the unique charm of Thai culture. These activities effectively strengthened mutual understanding and emotional bonds between the youth of China and Thailand.

They also experienced Thai food culture, tasting tropical fruits like longkong, rambutan, durian, and dishes like spicy papaya salad (Som Tam) ,sweet mango sticky rice, and soft, sweet colorful sticky rice balls.

Thanks to RMUTT's excellent arrangements, the 17-day program gave students a great learning environment. They improved their language skills, cultural understanding, and practical abilities while learning about Thai society. The HCU students also actively shared Chinese culture and stories, building strong friendships with RMUTT staff and students.
