Delegation from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Thailand Visits Our School for Symposium on International Exchange, Cooperation and Abroad Study Program

On March 13, 2024, a delegation of two members from the College of Business Administration at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Thailand  (RMUTT), led by Dean Khahan Na Nan, visited our school for Symposium on International Exchange, Cooperation and Abroad Study Program.Our school was represented by Wei He, Director of Office of International Exchange and Affairs of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and Secretary of Party Committee, School of Foreign Studies (School of International Education), Lin Na, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange and and Affairs of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan and Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Studies (School of International Education), Zhang Yuping, Deputy Dean of School of Literature and Communication, and other relevant faculty members.

On the morning of their visit, the educational cooperation exchange symposium took place in conference room 1509 of the Shixun Building. Secretary Wei He warmly welcomed Dean Khahan Na Nan and his team, providing a brief introduction to our school's educational profile, international exchange programs, and efforts in educational internationalization. He expressed the hope that through this exchange, our school and RMUTT could achieve cooperation in academic exchanges, faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, cultural events, and joint conferences and seminars etc. Dean Khahan Na Nan emphasized the importance of leveraging the unique strengths and advantages of both schools, aiming for mutual benefits in faculty and student exchanges and joint research to enhance academic competitiveness and international reputation. Both sides reached a preliminary consensus on the cooperation projects.

In the afternoon, the study abroad program promotion of RMUTT was held in conference room 102 of Gezhi Building. The event was attended by relevant leaders and faculty members from both schools, along with students majoring in Chinese International Education, Business English, and Thai from our school. Deputy Dean Lin Na briefly introduced the RMUTT delegation and the purpose of the promotion. Kanokporn Chaiprasit, Head of the International Exchange Department at RMUTT, provided an overview of RMUTT, covering its general profile, admission programs, training modes, campus cultural activities, and degree certification. Our students actively asked specific questions about the study abroad program, which were answered one by one by the RMUTT representatives. In closing, Deputy Dean Lin Na expressed her gratitude once again to the RMUTT delegation, hoping that the study abroad cooperation projects between the two schools could be implemented soon.

Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Thailand is a newly added international partner institution for our school in 2024. Both schools have reached a preliminary agreement on international educational cooperation projects, which will provide an international platform for teachers and students from both schools.
