On November 22,2023, Aj. Xiang You , Assistant to Vice President (Administration), Dean of Chinese International College (CIC-DPU) , Dhurakij Pundit University of Thailand, visited our university to hold a symposium on educational cooperation and exchange and an information conference on overseas study programs. The delegation of Dhurakij Pundit University, Thailand and Prof. He Wei, Director of Office of International Exchange and Affairs of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan, Secretary of the CPC, School of Foreign Studies(International Education), Ass. Prof. Yongxian Qin, Deputy Dean of School of Literature and Communication, Dr.Yuping Zhang, Deputy Dean of School of Literature and Communication, and the relevant teachers attended the meeting.
At 15:00, the education cooperation and exchange forum was held in Room 1509, Shixun Building. Secretary Wei He extended a warm welcome to Aj.Xiang You, Dean of Chinese International College (CIC-DPU) and his delegation, and briefly introduced the general situation of our university, the international exchange and education internationalization, as well as the history of the exchange and cooperation between the two universities. It is hoped that through this exchange, our university and Dhurakij Pundit University of Thailand can reach cooperation in student exchange programs, degree education, science and technology and academic exchange, construction of China-Thailand teacher resources and student visit and study program and practice. Dean Aj. Xiang You said that Dhurakij Pundit University of Thailand has always attached great importance to the cooperation with our university, and hopes that both sides can reach a preliminary consensus on the basis of nearly ten years of cooperation between the two universities.

At 16:30, the seminar of overseas study program of Dhurakij Pundit University of Thailand was held in Room 1-205, Hongyi Building. Leaders and teachers of the two universities attended the meeting, and students majoring in Chinese international education, Business English and Thai Language in our school attended the meeting. At the meeting, Secretary Wei He made a brief introduction to the delegation of Dhurakij Pundit University of Thailand and the purpose of the seminar. Aj. Fangyu Xiang, Director of International Affairs Office International College (IC-DPU) introduced DPU from the aspects of the local customs of Thailand, the general situation of Dhurakij Pundit University, enrollment programs, training mode, campus activities and academic certification. Students from our university actively questioned about the overseas study program, and the representatives of DPU answered them one by one. Finally, Secretary Wei He expressed his gratitude to the delegation of DPU and hoped that the cooperation project between the two universities could be implemented as soon as possible.
