On the morning of April 26, 2021, Nong Meifang, the director of academic affairs with International Affairs Center in Guangxi, China for Krirk University (KRIRK) in Thailand, and her entourage visited our school to carry out a seminar on studying abroad for the master and doctoral program. The meeting was held in Conference Room 907 of the Gezhi building of the West Campus. Li Yanfei, Director of Foreign Affairs Section of the Office of International Exchange and Affairs of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan attended and hosted the conference. At the meeting, Li first extended a warm welcome to Nong Meifang and her entourage, and then gave a brief introduction to the last cooperation meeting, and affirming the importance and necessity of this project. Nong Meifang introduced the geographical Location, founding background, foreign exchange activities, campus activities, training mode, graduation requirements and academic certification of the KRIRK to the participating faculties and staff by PPT. And she also would like to discuss with the leaders of relevant departments of our school about the training model of "3+1" or "2+2" for Thai language major.
Then, Nong Meifang gave detailed answers to the relevant questions raised by the participating faculties and staff, and explained the advantages of studying for the Master and Ph.D program of the KRIRK, to meet their demand for improving academic qualifications. Finally, our party thanked Nong Meifang and her entourage for coming, and declared the meeting over.
This presentation not only increased the alternative channel for faculties and staff to improve their academic qualifications in our school, but also provided a new reference for our school's Thai language professional training model.
